Veronika Liebigová - Brádlová

 

Born in 1988, Clarinetist Veronika Brádlová is a versatile chamber and orchestral player. She performed with the Northern Czech Theater & Ballet Orchestra in Ustí nad Labem and the Eu-ropera Youth Orchestra. Since 2015, she has been a member of the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, with whom she participated in several tours under the famed conductor Ennio Mor-
ricone. She frequently works and records with the Philharmonia Wind Orchestra for EMR - MARCOPHON. She co-founded the women’s clarinet quartet Cantarina Clarinete, where she played between 2011–2013. She frequently judges in musical competitions, and she teaches at the Karel Halíř Musical Primary School in Vrchlabí, the Musical Primary School in Lomnice nad
Popelkou, and in Semily. In the latter, she is also the director of local chamber and symphony ensembles. Her teaching methods are based on special breathing relaxation exercises.
Veronika graduated from the Teplice Conservatory in the class of Prof. Vladimír Zíka. There- after she finished her bachelor's studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague in the classes of Profs. Vlastimil Mareš, Jiří Hlaváč, and Štěpán Koutník. She went on to complete her master's degree at the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno under Prof. Milan
Polák and Prof. Vítězslav Spilka. In 2013–2014 she studied under Prof. Milan Řeřicha at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano, Switzerland. She also participated in several masterclasses with Sylvie Hue, Milan Řeřicha, Jorge Montilla, Shirlley Brill, Karel Dohnal, Milan Polák, and others. She received numerous accolades in both national and international competitions. As a soloist, she performed Mozart’s Clarinet concerto in A major with the Teplice
Philharmonic Orchestra under Charles Olivieri-Munroe.

Veronika is a member of the TrioTones ensemble (Vojtěch Urban - cello, Michaela Hajíčková - piano). Together they recorded their debut album "Czech chamber music", which was released in December 2024 (with ArcoDiva), also thanks to the support of RZ clarinets.
