Herson Amorim
plays on the RZ Solo


Herson Amorim holds a Doctorate in Music from UNICAMP, a Master’s degree in
Arts from UFPA, and a Bachelor’s degree in Clarinet Performance from UEPA,
where he studied with Oleg Andryeyev and Joel Barbosa. He began his musical
studies in 1999 at the Assembleia de Deus church, later enrolling at the Carlos
Gomes Conservatory. He has performed in Chile, Argentina, Portugal, Poland, and
Belgium.
He was a professor at the Carlos Gomes Conservatory (Belém – PA) and served as
principal clarinetist of the Theatro da Paz Symphony Orchestra from 2004 to
2010. Since 2009, he has been a tenured clarinet professor at the UFPA School of
Music.
He is an endorsed artist of RZ Clarinets and Gonzalez Reeds.
Herson currently plays on the RZ Solo clarinet.
